How this site came to be

I created this shrine a while back...it was something I wasn't sure I even wanted to create. I'd always done shrines to entire series. Never characters as an individual. I thought that I'd have major troubles with finding enough material and content to create a fully fleshed out piece of work. The more I dove into the job, however, I found this to be a silly fear.

Images seemed to be hard to find at first. I've always been a stickler for high-grade quality pictures and so many images seemed to not fulfill that need. Thankfully I stumbled upon several good sites that provided these images after much searching. The image gallery will always be updated whenever I have the time to look for more pictures.

A fanfic or 2 was good, I thought so I wrote down some ideas I'd had for them and created those as well. I can only hope that my collection will expand to other's work.

And so began the hard part. A name. I thought back to the first time I'd been introduced to Utena as a series. A friend of mine had made me watch it. She had said it was one of the greatest shows she'd seen yet. When I watched it I'd had to agree. Flashing further I remembered a snippet of conversation I'd had with her about it later.

She'd seen a t-shirt that someone was wearing, made themselves or at least not silk-screened as was obvious. But what was on the shirt itself as she described it was the most intriguing part to me. On the front was each of the duelists protrayed with a reason for fighting printed beside them - Juri's happened to be 'For Love'. On the back of the shirt stood Utena and Anthy side-by-side and their reason was...of course 'for each other'. The idea was that the back of the shirt was meant to outweigh the front I believe, but still the idea struck me that Juri's reason was profound enough in itself.

So this site was named 'For Love, Perhaps...' What else would our dear Juri duel for? ^^
